Campus Connection 2008: He Rose!

One cold night 2,000 years ago...

a contingent of up to sixteen Roman soldiers was dispatched at Jerusalem...

they were given orders to guard the tomb of a high-security prisoner executed a few hours ago...

they were warned that a band of fanatics would attempt to steal the body of the famed criminal...

a huge stone covered the entrance of the tomb and was sealed with the imperial seal....

two long, dark days passed and no shadow of any thief was seen...

but on the third day...

something strange happened...

a series of mysterious events transpired...

the soldiers abandoned their posts...

some went into the city to report to their superiors...

filled with fear...

the huge stone blocking the entrance was rolled away...

the seals broken...

and the body of the notorious blasphemer...

...was gone

none of the soldiers were killed or wounded,
nor were there any signs of an encounter with the followers of the criminal...
all of these events caused a great stir in Jerusalem...



there can only be one answer...

Bethany YP Hands Play Performance

Here's our YP doing Hands Play after a very long time. The team performed as the special presentation for this month's Evangelistic Meeting which the Deaf Ministry Department handled.

This Hands Play is a sort-of collaboration between me and my Onyi. She lead all the practices until the performance. My job is to come up with all the figures and over-see everything.

We all had fun! Most of all, it was a real blessing to those who were able to see it.
The kids are excited to do it again...I'm pretty sure there will be a next time.
