2 Become 1

yeah, yeah. i know the title of this post sounds cheesy but it is waht this post is all about. last weekend i did another wedding; this one ahs a very cute story behind it- the kind that i think only happens in movies!!!
3 years ago i(with kuya jo) coordinated the wedding of kuya nad and ate aileen at blueroze farms in batangas. that wedding went well but little did i know that yet another love story is beginning to unfold. apparently, the brother of the bride-kuya ronnel met this special lady. his uncle brought a guest and introduced him to ate connie, and the rest they say is history.
three years after, kuya ronnel and ate connie approached kuya jo and i to coordinate their wedding at the same venue- blueroze farms. like i said, i thought this stuff only happends in the movies, but here's one that unfolded right before my eyes. (waah! i'm a sucker for love stories and yeah, i'm a hopeless romantic! =) )
anyhow, last friday, kuya jo and i traveled to lipa city, batangas. it was a long ride, it was friday and it was super traffic, but we finally got there by around 7 pm. we were brought to kuya ronnel's house to have dinner then proceeded to the wedding rehearsal. after the rehearsal we went to the "kubo" wehre we spent the night. that friday was eventful. friday morning it rained a lot in bantangas and scared our bride and groom a little (the venue was a garden so just imagine how nervous that would make you feel!), thenin the evening it poured so hard in manila that it flooded. the best man and the singers were scheduled to leave @ 8pm, but it was delayed because the others got stuck in some flooded areas in the metro. but thank God! He kept everyone safe and they were able to reach the ''kubo" at around 12am.
saturday- sept.9 was the big diay! we got up at 8am, had breakfast(it rained hard that morning but God made the rain to stop just in time for the wedding0, rehearsed the songs, then headed for the church to meet the officiating minister to finalize all the wedding details. after dressing up and doing my 5-minute make up, we rushed to the wedding venue. the ceremony was delayed by 45 minutes but all things work together for good! like all other weddings, there were some glitches and details that didn't go as planned, but all-in-all, we had a good ceremony and reception program.
Congratulations to kuya ronnel and ate connie! may God bless your marraige. i'm glad to be able to help you with your wedding.
thanks to kuya jo, the singers, and kuya nad and ate aileen for being a good host and emcee for the reception!
